The Executive Board
The Executive Board is VUBMUN’s highest governing body, responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of the organization. It consists of three delegates, elected each year by the VUBMUN General Assembly from the previous year’s Diplomacy Team.

The Functional Board
The Functional Board supports the Executive Board by taking on more specific responsibilities tied to VUBMUN’s priorities for the year. These roles are re-evaluated each year and can change depending on the organization’s evolving needs. This year, the Functional Board consists of three members, elected by the VUBMUN General Assembly.

vubmun Diplomacy team
Each year 10 delegates are chosen in a multi-level application process, who will join our diplomacy team and be trained to excellence. The applicants are judged based on their knowledge of international affairs, their ability to construct arguments and their public speaking skills. This may seem daunting, but do not worry, we don’t expect you to be perfect.

vubmun LIMUN Delegation
Each year the VUBMUN delegation is expanded for one of the conferences, LIMUN (London International Model United Nations). About 10 extra delegates are selected through another application process and consequently trained in order to compete to the best of their abilities in the London conference.
